(A) The city Police Department shall be given the authority pursuant to R.C. § 715.50 to preserve the peace, protect persons and property, and obey and enforce all ordinances of the legislative authority and all criminal laws of the state and the United States on lands owned or used by the city for a municipal purpose, outside municipal corporation.
(B) Any person charged with violating any law on property owned or used by the city for a municipal purpose outside the municipal corporation may be prosecuted in the municipal court.
