(A) There is established a Department of Engineering for the city.
(B) The Department shall be under the supervision of the Engineering Department Supervisor. In addition to his or her other duties, the Engineering Department Supervisor is appointed the City Building Commissioner.
(C) There shall be created, within the Engineering Department, the position of Code Enforcement Officer. The salary range for this position shall be as set from time to time by City Council. The qualifications for and duties of this position shall be outlined in the job description attached to Ordinance No. 6848-98, passed May 11, 1998.
