§ 30.06 PROCEDURE FOR PREPARATION OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS.
   Preparing a resolution or ordinance after the motion has been passed at a Council meeting:
   (A)   No resolution or ordinance will be passed without written documentation.
   (B)   The Law Director has the responsibility of preparing this document.
   (C)   (1)   This document should be printed on officially approved, pre-numbered, paper by the third reading.
      (2)   Any supplement record that becomes part of this document should be printed on the same size paper to maintain continuity.
   (D)   The Law Director makes copies to be passed out at the next Council meeting and the original copy is given to the Clerk.
   (E)   The Clerk keeps the original document in the locked file cabinet until the third and final reading and approved by Council.
   (F)   Immediately following the Council meeting, the approved resolution or ordinance shall be signed by the Council President, Mayor, and attested to by the Clerk.
   (G)   The Clerk will make copies and distribute to the Mayor, Safety Service Director, Auditor, Law Director, local newspaper and American Legal Publishing.
   (H)   The original copy will be placed in the ordinance book and kept in fireproof cabinets in the Records Storage Room; and stored under the direction and responsibility of the City Auditor.
   (I)   A copy of the resolution or ordinance must be mailed or emailed to American Legal Publishing and logged in a book with the date sent out.
   (J)   All records held and disposed of pursuant to the Records Retention Schedule.
