(a) No building hereafter erected shall be used or occupied in whole or in part until the Chief Building Official or his or her designated representative has issued a certificate of occupancy therefor under this chapter.
(b) No developer, builder, owner or occupant shall occupy or permit or allow the occupancy of any structure hereafter built without first obtaining a certificate of occupancy therefor. (Ord. 76-30. Passed 12-6-76.)
