As used in this chapter, "garbage" and "trash" mean all trash, rubbish, garbage and other refuse or discarded material required to be removed from the premises. For the purposes of this chapter, such materials are classified as "garbage", "burnable waste" and "nonburnable waste":
(a) "Garbage" means putrescible wastes, and includes every refuse accumulation of animal, fruit or vegetable matter used or intended for food, or that attends the preparation, use, cooking, dealing in or storing of meat, fish, fowl, fruit or vegetables.
(b) "Burnable waste" means all waste capable of being burned and includes wooden or cardboard boxes, crates and cartons, wooden barrels, lumber scraps or shavings, rags or discarded wearing apparel and bedding, excelsior, straw, grass, leaves, lawn, flower, shrubbery or tree trimmings, paper and magazines or any other material capable of being burned.
(c) "Nonburnable waste" means all waste substances incapable of being burned, and includes ashes, glass, tin cans, crockery, metal, junk or any other nonburnable material of any sort.
