1028.03   PLANTING REQUIREMENTS.
   Work done shall be performed in strict accordance with the following regulations established for the planting, trimming and care of trees in public places:
   (a)   Trees shall be not less than one inch in diameter of trunk one foot above the ground.

   (b)   No tree shall be planted directly over any storm sewer, water main or sanitary sewer line which is located in the tree lawn.

   (c)   No tree shall be planted within fifteen feet of either side of a driveway that opens onto a public street.
   (d)   No shrub or bush located on the triangle formed by two right-of-way lines at the intersection of two streets, and extending for a distance of twenty-five feet each way from the intersection of the right-of-way lines on any corner lot in the City, shall be permitted to grow to a height of more than thirty inches from the established street grade, in order that the view of a driver of a vehicle approaching a street intersection shall not be obstructed.
   Trees may be placed and maintained on private property in this area, provided that all branches are trimmed to maintain a clear vision for a vertical height of eight feet above the roadway surface. Any person who fails to trim any trees, shrubs or bushes in conformity with this section shall be notified in the manner provided by Chapter 676 of these Codified Ordinances.
