440.13   TRANSPORTING ANIMALS AND ANIMAL PRODUCTS; INFORMATION TO BE GIVEN TO POLICE OFFICERS.
   (a)   An operator or person in charge of any motor or horse drawn vehicle containing any livestock, fowl, grain, seeds or wool, shall, upon inquiry by any police officer, furnish such officer with information, upon demand, as to the contents of any such vehicle, including the names and addresses from whom such contents were obtained, the date when they were obtained, the number, kind and breed of such livestock or fowl, or the kind and quantity of such grain, seeds or wool, and the probable buyer and destination of the same.
   (b)   If any person wrongfully refuses to answer any such question, or wrongfully and knowingly gives false information in connection therewith, the officer shall detain such person until a reasonable investigation has been made.
