Every police officer of the City and each police constable of Butler Township, Harrison Township and Randolph Township, shall act as deputy bailiffs for the Municipal Court and shall perform such duties in such capacity as may be required of them by the Judge or Clerk of the Court. For performing duties as a deputy bailiff of the Municipal Court no additional compensation shall be paid to such police officer or police constable.
