290.01   CLERK OF COURTS; ESTABLISHMENT, BOND AND DUTIES.
   (a)   There is hereby established the office of Clerk of the Municipal Court, to be appointed under Ohio R.C. 1901.31, with an annual compensation as established by Council. Such officer shall be known officially as the Clerk of Courts.
   (b)   The Clerk of the Municipal Court shall perform such duties as are incumbent upon that office under the Ohio Revised Code, and shall be in attendance at all sessions of the Municipal Court. The Clerk shall give bond of not less than six thousand dollars ($6,000), the exact amount to be determined by the Judge of the Municipal Court. Such bond shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Clerk's duties as Clerk.
