The Park and Recreation Advisory Board shall seek to secure cooperation with the Board of Education of the Vandalia - Butler City School District in the administration of recreational activities employing the facilities and properties of the Board of Education in such manner as to secure the utmost benefits and advantages from all recreational facilities and properties provided by the taxpayers. The Park and Recreation Advisory Board shall similarly seek to secure the cooperation of all residents of the City and to coordinate both public and private recreation insofar as the same is practicable.
