246.01 ESTABLISHMENT; APPOINTMENT AND COMPENSATION OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT.

There is hereby established a Department of Streets, which shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Street Superintendent. The position of Street Superintendent shall be filled by appointment by the City Manager, subject to the confirmation of Council, and he or she shall receive an annual salary as established by Council.
