208.07   PREVAILING WAGE LAW.
   Ohio R.C. 4115.02 through 4115.16, as amended from time to time, known as the Prevailing Wage Law, are specifically not incorporated into these Codified Ordinances. Council and the various City officers charged with the responsibilities of negotiating, preparing and executing contracts on behalf of the City shall not be bound by any provision of the Prevailing Wage Law, nor shall the City or any of its officers designate a Prevailing Wage Coordinator to perform the various responsibilities specified in the Prevailing Wage Law. Contracts entered into by the City shall not comply with the Prevailing Wage Law unless Council, in its authorizing legislation, specifically provides to the contrary, or unless, as a condition of funding, the City is required to so comply.
