§ 93.16 ALARM RESPONSES.
   (A)   The County Sheriff’s Department and Henderson Police Department will provide a maximum of 2 free burglar alarm responses, and the County Fire Departments and City of Henderson Fire Departments and County Fire and Ambulance Service will also provide a maximum of 2 free fire alarm responses to any alarm user within any calendar month. In addition, all County Volunteer Fire Departments shall also provide only 2 free alarm responses within any calendar month. Thereafter, a user fee, as approved by the Board of County Commissioners, shall be charged for any alarm response in excess of the 2 burglar alarm responses and 2 fire alarm responses.
   (B)   (1)   The alarm user or that user’s representative shall reset an alarm system when notified by a responder that the alarm has activated.
      (2)   When an alarm sounds continuously for a period of 60 minutes from the time responders react to the alarm, due to the failure of the alarm user or that user’s representative to reset the alarm, every subsequent 60-minute period or portion thereof that the alarm continues to sound shall be deemed a separate alarm.
      (3)   The alarm user shall pay, in addition to any other fees imposed under this chapter, to the county a flat rate fee established by the Board of County Commissioners.
      (4)   The user shall additionally pay for the benefit of the primary responder fire department a monetary sum established by the Board of County Commissioners.
