(A) No private water wells shall be constructed, reconstructed or reconditioned within the corporate limits of the city.
(B) This section shall not apply to the repair or replacement of pumping equipment in existing wells.
(C) This section shall not apply to properties that do not have a public water main within 300 feet of the closest edge of the property.
(D) It is deemed unlawful and in violation of this chapter to connect a private well to a system that is connected to the public water supply. Connection of this type is considered a cross connection.
