§ 130.02 LOUD AND CONTINUING NOISES PROHIBITED.
   (A)   The making, continuing, causing or aiding to be made or continued any loud, unnecessary or unusual noises whatsoever, which either annoy, injure or endanger the comfort, repose, health or safety of others unless the making or continuing of the same is necessary for the protection or preservation of property or the health, safety or life or limb of some person is hereby declared to be unlawful and a public nuisance.
   (B)   The following acts constitute a public nuisance:
      (1)   The sounding of any horn, signal device or attachment on an automobile, motorcycle, bicycle, truck, bus or other vehicle except as a necessary warning of danger to person or property;
      (2)   The creation of grating, screeching, grinding, squeaking, loud reports or shots, or other noises in the use of automobiles, motorcycles or other vehicles or appurtenances attached thereto;
      (3)   The creation of loud noises by the manipulation, handling and playing of musical instruments, except in conjunction with authorized parades or public functions, a permit for which has been issued by the Board of Public Works and Safety;
      (4)   The keeping of an animal, bird or fowl which by causing frequent or continued noises, shall disturb the comfort or repose of persons in any dwelling or apartment house or residence. It shall constitute a nuisance to harbor or keep at a single-family residence, more than three dogs, provided, however, that a dog under the age of two months shall not be counted or deemed to be a dog for the purpose of this division; and/or
      (5)   The creation of noise, as hereinabove defined, by any radio, phonograph or any musical instrument, or the making of any loud, unnecessary or boisterous noises at any hour whatsoever of the day.
