§ 33.22 BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS.
   (A)   Membership. The Board of Zoning Appeals shall consist of five members, of which three are appointed by the Mayor, one is appointed from the Plan Commission by the mayor, and one is appointed by the Plan Commission. Of this Board, not more than three shall be members of the same political party. All members shall be residents of the city, two of the members shall be members of the Plan Commission, and none of the members shall hold other elective or appointive office in the city.

   (B)   Duties. The function of the Board is to hear and determine appeals for exceptions to the city zoning ordinances.

   (C)   Petition filing fee. Any person filing any petition for variance or special exception from the Zoning Ordinance shall at the time of filing pay to the Clerk-Treasurer the sum of $50. Any funds paid hereunder shall be placed in the General Fund of the city.
