§ 116.01 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   TAXICAB. Any motor vehicle used or carrying passengers for hire within the limits of the city to destinations designated by the passenger, and not on regular routes.

   TAXICAB SERVICE. The business or occupation of operating taxicabs and furnishing taxicab service to the public.
