Whenever a vehicle is parked in an individual parking space where a parking meter has been installed, the person parking the vehicle shall deposit lawful money of the United States in the amount designated on the meter for payment for parking. Parking at all meters in the city shall be at the rate established for that location by the Board of Public Works and Safety.
