(A) In any area designated as a two-hour or three-hour parking zone or parking lot and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle for a period of time longer than two hours or three hours as designated between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
(B) The Board of Public Works and Safety shall determine the areas of the city that shall be designated as two-hour parking zones, and shall provide for signs indicating this designation, or may provide for notice to be placed on parking meters if the same are deemed necessary.
(C) The purpose of this section is to provide notice to the user of a parking space as to the parking requirements therefore.
