There is hereby established an Advanced Life Support - Ambulance Provider Service within the Fire Department. The service shall be operated by the Fire Department of the city and governed by the applicable policies and procedures created and maintained by the Fire Chief; the applicable rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and contractual agreements created, maintained, and approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety; and the applicable articles as contained in the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1124, collective bargaining agreement with the city.
