(A) Any person or firm affected by the exercise of any discretionary authority delegated by this chapter to any official of the city, and who objects to the decision made or action taken by such official, shall be entitled to a hearing before the Board of Public Works and Safety upon such objection.
(B) The person or firm desiring such hearing shall file a written statement of his/her objections with the Clerk-Treasurer. The person or firm making the objections shall be given notice of the time, place and date of said hearing at least ten days before the hearing time. The person or firm objecting may waive the ten-day notice provision to facilitate the hearing process.
(C) After hearing testimony of the objector and the official who made the decision or took the action objected to, the Board may confirm, revise, or modify and confirm as revised, or modify the decision or action of the official in any manner consistent with the discretionary authority herein delegated by this chapter to that official.
