(A) Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the provisions of §§ 150.15 et seq., does any act prohibited herein or fails to perform any duty lawfully enjoined, within the time prescribed by the Building Commissioner or fails, neglects or refuses to obey any lawful order given by the Building Commissioner in connection with the provisions of the code, may be subject to a fine in any sum not exceeding $2,500. The assessment of a monetary penalty shall in no way limit the operation of the penalties provided elsewhere in this Building Code.
(B) Any person who violates any other provision of this chapter for which another penalty is not specifically provided shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding $2,500. A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during which a violation occurs or continues.
