(a) "Height of a building" means the vertical distance to the highest point of the coping in the case of a flat roof and to the mean height between the eaves and ridge in the case of a pitched roof, measured from the finished grade.
(b) "Height of a structure other than a building" means the vertical distance to the highest point of the structure measured from the finished grade.
