842.06 APPLICATION INVESTIGATION AND INSPECTION OF PREMISES.
    The Police Chief shall investigate each application to determine whether or not the dance hall sought to be licensed complies with the regulations, ordinances and laws applicable thereto. In the making of such investigation, he shall, when desired, have the assistance of the Inspector of Buildings. The report of such inspection shall be furnished to the Mayor, in writing, together with the recommendation as to whether a license should be granted or refused. The Police Chief and his deputies shall be given access to all public dance halls at all times. They shall investigate complaints, inspect at intervals the dance halls within the Village and take necessary steps to enforce all laws and ordinances. No license shall be renewed except after reinspection of the premises as provided herein.
