(a) No person shall make or cause to be made by the use of any vehicle, or by the operation of any instrument, device or appliance, any unreasonably loud, disturbing or unnecessary noise of such a character, intensity and duration as to disturb the peace and quiet of a country home district or as to be detrimental to the life and health of any individual. No person engaged in pick-up, delivery, rubbish disposal or street or premises cleaning, except for Municipal, County or State workers engaged in snow removal or maintenance operations, shall disturb the peace and quiet of a country home district. No activity in this subsection shall be scheduled at any time other than between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
(b) Subsection (a) hereof shall not apply to loud noises created by musical instruments on private property between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
