Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense. For a second offense, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. For each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. The penalty shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
