(a) No person shall keep, maintain, possess or have under control, in any place of business or in any other place of public resort, any table game or device commonly known as a "pin game," "pinball game" or "marble game," the operation, use or play of which is controlled by placing therein any coin, plate, disc, plug, key or other token, or by the payment of a fee.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
