(a) Guards shall be assigned to secure all possible entryways to the blast area.
(b) The Blaster-ln-Charge shall remain in constant communication with blast area guards and the designated shot firer.
(c) Primary initiation devices to the shot shall not be connected until all guards confirm that blast area is secure.
(d) A five-minute blast warning shall be sounded to signal all in the blast area that a blast is imminent.
(e) A one-minute blast warning shall be sounded provided that all persons including the shot initiator are in safe locations, and that guards confirm that blast area remains secure.
(f) The shot firer is to initiate the blast only on direct instruction from the Blaster-In-Charge.
(g) The Blaster-In-Charge shall relieve all guards and give the all clear signal to allow normal vehicular and pedestrian traffic to resume when the blast area is clear of hazards.
