618.16 HUNTING PROHIBITED; EXCEPTIONS.
   (a)   Bow hunting is allowed in season on parcels of two acres or more. Hunting shall be allowed for residents or others with the owner's written permission. Applications shall be provided by and submitted to the Chief of Police under rules promulgated by the Mayor. Annual permits for hunting shall be kept on file by the Clerk of Courts. Proper permit and consent credentials shall be on the hunter's possession during any activity. Bow hunting shall take place from a raised platform at least five feet high and at least 300 feet from a residential dwelling or property building structure.
   (b)   All other hunting or trapping permits shall be regulated by the Ohio Division of Wildlife per the rules and regulations set forth in Ohio R.C. Chapters 1531 and 1533.

   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
