(a) The Chief of Police and each full-time Patrolman shall receive hospitalization insurance coverage as deemed appropriate by Council.

(b) In addition to his or her regular compensation, the Mayor shall be entitled to hospitalization.

(c) All employees of the Village who are covered by its hospitalization plan shall be required to pay fifty dollars ($50.00) per month towards the amount required for their individual hospitalization. Said amount shall be a pre-tax deduction from the employee's pay.

(d) Unless otherwise provided, elected officials of the Village shall have the right to purchase the same type of hospitalization insurance as the Village purchases for its employees, provided, however, that said elected officials pay the monthly premium cost to the Clerk-Treasurer one month prior to the payment date therefor.
