250.05 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION.
   (a)   General Guidelines.
      (1)   Any employee of the Village who is employed at more than one position which provides for longevity shall be entitled to only one longevity compensation which shall be the greater amount of the compensation allowed.
      (2)   For the purpose of counting years of service, full-time service shall include only full-time employment.
      (3)   Part-time employment years cannot be credited towards full-time employment years required for full-time longevity compensation.
      (4)   Part-time employment years in one position shall not be credited to part-time years required for part-time longevity compensation in another position.
      (5)   Full-time employment years in one position shall not be credited to part-time years required for part-time longevity compensation in another position.

   (b)   Schedule. In addition to all other compensation for the following employees, there is hereby established longevity compensation, based upon the following schedule, for continuous honorable service except for authorized leaves of absence.
      (1)   Police Department.
         A.   Regular full-time members:
