(a) Qualifications. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to engage the services of an Inspector who shall have a Class Two Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator's license, issued to him by the State, and who shall not perform any private inspection or maintenance of waste water treatment plants within the Village while so engaged.
(b) Duties. The Inspector shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Engineer. He shall make monthly inspections of mechanical waste water treatment plants within the Village, except those plants which service single-family units. He shall, at the time of his inspections, determine that proper maintenance is being performed on such treatment plants and that such plants are operating within the standards established by the Ohio Department of Health. He shall conduct such standard chemical tests or analyses as are necessary to determine the operating efficiency of such treatment plants and shall perform whatever additional duties may be required by the Engineer, in addition to those specified in Chapter 1044 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code.
(c) Compensation. The Inspector shall be paid the following fee per year per each plant that he is directed to inspect by the Engineer:
