(a) Effective September 1, 1992, the Village will provide ambulance emergency squad services in exchange for an assignment of insurance company proceeds available to the user, whether a resident or nonresident, and will accept, as full payment, the usual and customary rates as allowed by the particular insurance company for the services provided. The Village will not charge or collect any amount of money in excess of the insurance payments received.
(b) The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with a company that will provide an electronic claims filing system for the purpose of collecting insurance proceeds as provided for in subsection (a) hereof, which proceeds will be deposited in the Village's Capital Fund.
