240.13 ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOLS.
   For attending EMT-A School and for attending the basic course in Firefighting School, each member of the Fire Department shall receive one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00), plus mileage, for attending 110 hours of training sessions which are done in two separate classes. For attending school for the purpose of updating the EMT-A certificate and the basic course in firefighting certificate, as required by the laws of the State, each member of the Department shall be compensated at the current minimum wage, plus mileage, payable at the completion of the required schooling, upon certification by the Fire Chief.
