240.08 VACATIONS AND HOLIDAYS.
   (a)   Every full-time member of the Fire Department, except the Fire Chief, who works the regular twenty-four to forty-eight hour work schedule, shall be entitled to the following vacation allowance:
   Years of Continuous Service   Tours of Duty
   After one         Five
   After five         Seven
   After ten         Nine
   After fifteen         Eleven
   After twenty         Twelve
   (b)   Every full-time member of the Fire Department, with the exception of the Fire Chief, shall be entitled to six tours of duty off instead of receiving the nine paid holidays and three personal days.
   (c)   The Chief of the Fire Department will be entitled to ten working days vacation during the calendar year after his first year of continuous service, eleven working days vacation after completing five years of service, twelve working days vacation after completing six years of service, thirteen working days vacation after completing seven years of service, fourteen working days vacation after completing eight years of service, fifteen working days vacation after completing nine years of service, sixteen working days vacation after completing ten years of service, seventeen working days vacation after completing eleven years of service, eighteen working days vacation after completing twelve years of service, nineteen working days vacation after completing thirteen years of service, twenty working days vacation after completing fourteen years of service, twenty-one working days vacation after completing fifteen years of service, twenty-two working days vacation after completing sixteen years of service, twenty-three working days vacation after completing seventeen years of service, twenty-four working days vacation after completing eighteen years of service, twenty-five working days vacation after completing nineteen years of service and twenty-five working days vacation after completing twenty years of service.

   (d)   The Chief of the Fire Department shall be entitled to the following nine paid holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, two unnamed holidays, and three personal days, one of which will be the employee's birthday, all of which must be taken as time off, and within the calendar year.
