Commencing January 1, 1984, the Mayor should be immediately available between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to perform the duties of the Mayor as prescribed by law and such other duties that have become necessary to preserve and protect the health, welfare and safety of the residents of the Village.
