(a) Effective January 1, 2002, a member of Council serving on the Finance Committee shall receive additional compensation of nine hundred dollars ($900.00) per year, payable bi-weekly. Said nine hundred dollars ($900.00) shall be in addition to the Councilperson’s regular salary.
(b) Effective January 1, 2002, all parties serving on the following standing committees of council shall receive additional compensation of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per year in one lump sum. Said five hundred dollars ($500.00) shall be in addition to the Councilpersons regular salary.
(1) Building & Building Maintenance;
(2) Road, Traffic, Utility and Engineering;
(3) Insurance; Human Services, Office Services;
(4) Landscape & Beautification;
(5) Safety;
(6) Recreation.
(c) Effective January 1, 2012, all members of Council shall receive a six hundred dollar ($600.00) (per member) allowance to attend seminars, purchase publications, and provide for associated incidental supplies.
