§ 154.10 PRUNING; CLEARANCE.
   (A)   The owner, agent or occupant of any land abutting a sidewalk, street or alley shall keep the trees located within the section of the sidewalk or street right-of-way or alley so abutting trimmed, pruned and sprayed in such manner as will remove any hazard to life or property and preserve or promote the health and vigor of the trees and shall water and otherwise care for the trees to maintain them in a healthy, vigorous, growing condition; provided, however, that the Tree Board may direct pesticide be applied to these trees for insect or disease control at city expense when doing so is considered in the public interest.
   (B)   A clearance of 14 feet must be maintained over streets and alleys.
   (C)   A clearance of eight feet must be maintained over sidewalks.
   (D)   No property owner or occupant shall permit the limbs, branches and/or foliage of any tree or shrub upon such property to obstruct the light from any streetlamp or obstruct the view of any street intersection.
