(A) Each property owner shall maintain suitable numbers marking the property’s street address, which shall be visible and legible from the street or road fronting the property. This identification will help to improve response times of police, fire and rescue by making it easier to find the right location. The address numbers should contrast with their background and be a minimum of four inches high and one-half inch wide.
(B) If the residence is located too far back from the street or road for the address numbers to be readily seen, then the numbers must be:
(1) Larger;
(2) Posted in such a way that they can be read from the street or road;
(3) Posted at or near the edge of the street or road; or
(4) Painted on the curb.
