§ 90.04 TRAILS AND PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE.
   (A)   Trail hours and use. The trails and pedestrian bridge shall be closed from sunset to sunrise each day. Trail users must follow all state bicycle laws and trail guidelines for safety. Use of the trail at any time is at the user’s own risk, and they must take precautions during every use.
   (B)   Authorized trail users. Trails are multi-use in nature with various acceptable shared activities and users. Authorized trail users include:
      (1)   Walkers;
      (2)   Joggers;
      (3)   Runners;
      (4)   Skateboards and rollerblades;
      (5)   Pet owners, with their licensed animal(s) on a leash; and
      (6)   Bicyclists (includes the use of all e-bikes and e-scooters).
   (C)   Unauthorized trail users. Unauthorized trail uses include:
      (1)   Gas, natural gas or electric powered motor vehicles;
      (2)   Motorcycles;
      (3)   Utility vehicles;
      (4)   Go-carts;
      (5)   ATVs and UTVs;
      (6)   Snowmobiles; and
      (7)   Any other type of motorized vehicle used as transportation.
   (D)   Pets. Pets are allowed on the trail; however, every pet must be properly licensed and leashed at all times. Pet owners are responsible for any pet behavior relating to damage or harm to other animals or users. Owners are responsible for any waste made by their pets.
   (E)   Trail etiquette.
      (1)   Show courtesy to all other trail users.
      (2)   Use the right side of the trail unless otherwise designated.
      (3)   Always pass on the left, with an audible warning to the user(s) being passed.
      (4)   Listen for audible signals and allow faster trail users to pass safely.
   (F)   Alcohol. Alcohol is not allowed at any time.
