For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BUILDING INSPECTOR. The building inspector of the city.
HEALTH OFFICER. The Director of the County Health Department or his or her authorized representative.
PRIVATE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM. A water supply system not operated by a governmental subdivision.
WELL. The structural assembly constructed for the purpose of extracting water from the ground.
