Where no special hazard exists that requires lower speed for compliance with section 5-2-1 of this chapter, the limits as hereinafter authorized shall be the maximum lawful speeds, and no person shall drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of the maximum limits:
A. Residential Neighborhood: Thirty five (35) miles per hour or a lesser maximum speed as adopted in any residential neighborhood of any urban district.
B. Urban District: Thirty five (35) miles per hour or a lesser maximum speed as adopted in any urban district.
C. Highway 55: Sixty five (65) miles per hour on State Highway 55 unless otherwise posted.
D. Posted Speed Limits: Posted speed limits on certain county roads as approved by the county commissioners on November 9, 1981.
E. All Other Locations: Fifty five (55) miles per hour in all other locations. (Ord. 97-1, 7-14-1997)
