4-3-1: REPORTING:

Anyone having knowledge or reason to believe that any animal in the county has bitten a person shall report such incident within twenty four (24) hours to the Valley County sheriff's office or other local law enforcement agency, so far as is known, the name and address of the owner and circumstances of the animal. (Ord. 86-2, 8-11-1986)
