4-1-2: RUNAWAYS:
   A.   Definition: "Runaway", as defined in this subsection, is any person under the age of eighteen (18) years who has left home, place of abode or custody of parents, guardian or legal custodian of said person, without the knowledge, permission or consent of the parents, guardian or legal custodian of said person.
   B.   Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of eighteen (18) years, living or found in the county, to run away from the parents, guardian, or legal custodian of said person.
   C.   Aid, Harbor Or Encourage: It shall be unlawful for any person to aid, harbor or encourage any person who is a runaway.
   D.   Penalty: Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment of not more than six (6) months in the county jail or by both such fine and imprisonment.
