It is recognized that recreational usage of and around water bodies located in the county has rapidly increased in recent years. It is further recognized that many of the public land areas surrounding said water bodies are not served by approved sanitary waste and solid waste disposal facilities. Therefore, it is the intent of this chapter to eliminate a potential health hazard by regulating the disposal of sewage wastes in the immediate vicinity of specified water bodies located in the county.
