1-7-2: PURPOSE:

The purpose of this chapter shall be to allow by initiative for a sufficient number of the electorate to propose law and to submit the same to a direct vote of the electorate, and to allow by referendum for a sufficient number of electorate to submit to popular vote law passed upon or proposed by the county commissioners. (Ord. 81-7, 11-23-1981)
