This chapter is designed to promote the public health, safety and general welfare; to secure safety from fire hazard and health hazards; and to promote the environment and preserve and improve the environmental quality of the county. This chapter is further designed to provide a just, equitable and practical method, to be cumulative with and in addition to any other remedy provided by the Uniform Building Code, the Valencia County Comprehensive Ordinance, as amended, or otherwise available by law whereby dangerous or abandoned or ruined buildings, structures, mobile or manufactured housing, wreckage, rubbish, debris and other items creating a public nuisance may be required to be repaired, vacated or demolished and removed.
