§ 10-2-1 DESIGNATION; CRITERIA.
   For the purposes of the currently adopted edition of the Building Code that describes historical buildings, if a building or structure within the town shall be designated as having special historical or architectural significance and such building or structure meets the following criteria:
   (A)   It has been in existence for at least 50 years; and
   (B)   It has importance in the history, architecture, archeology or culture of the town as determined by the Planning and Environmental Commission.
