Any fee which is to be paid pursuant to this chapter for the provision of fire protection services or any consideration which is to be paid pursuant to any contract for fire protection services, if not paid within 30 days of billing, and all costs of collection of such fee or consideration shall constitute a lien on the real property for which said fire protection services are provided. Such liens shall continue until the amount thereof is paid or until its discharge of record by foreclosure or otherwise.
