§ 5-6-5 VEHICLE IMPOUNDMENT.

Any police officer of the town upon finding a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, standing or being parked within a fire lane shall require such vehicle to be removed or cause it to be removed and impounded, and the owner or operator of the vehicle shall be liable for the cost of such removal and impounding, in addition to any other penalties imposed by this chapter.
